How to Apply for MDI Gurgaon PGDM Course 2024?

Admission to MDI Gurgaon is completed in three stages for its flagship courses namely, PGDM, PGDM-HRM, PGSM-BA, and PGDM-IB. The applicant has to follow the steps mentioned below to apply for the preferred flagship course at MDI Gurgaon.


Stage 1- Eligibility Check and Application

Students have to go through the registration process to apply to MDI Gurgaon flagship courses before the commencement of the CAT examination. The exam will be held in the last week of November. Any student after meeting the following eligibility criteria can apply for MDI Gurgaon PGDM courses.

  • At least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in both class 10th and 12th.
  • Bachelor's Degree (minimum 3 years for PGDM, PGDM-BA, PGDM-HRM; Minimum 4 years for PGDM-IB), with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA.
  • Candidates appearing for the final examination for the Bachelor's degree can also apply to the PGDM, PGDM-BA, and PGDM-HRM.
  • The candidates have to submit the proof of graduation latest by October 31, 2024.
  • Applicants to the PGDM-IB program must possess a minimum of 1 year of work experience

Stage 2- Shortlisting

Candidates will be shortlisted for the GD-PI round at MDI Gurgaon among the candidates who have a valid CAT score and satisfy the eligibility criteria for the program. The shortlisted candidates need to log in to MDI Gurgaon’s website and enter their order of program preference for PGPM/PGP-IB/PGP-HRM. Preferences once filled will not be changed at any stage later on.

Stage 3- Final Selection

Once the applicant qualifies for the GD-PI round between February - April 2024, the final admission letters will be disclosed to the selected candidates in April. The final selection is based on a diverse set of attributes which includes performance in CAT, performance in GD-PI, academics, co-curricular and extra-curricular achievements, and work experience among others.

MDI Gurgaon FPM Eligibility Criteria

The students have to meet the eligibility criteria as given below to apply for MDI Gurgaon FPM Admission.

  • The candidate must have a master's degree from any stream with a minimum of 60% marks.
  • For five-year integrated Master’s degree candidates, it is mandatory to have a minimum of 60% aggregate marks.
  • Must have a minimum of 50% in bachelor’s degree, Class 10 and Class 12.
  • In addition to this, FPM (Non-Residential) candidates must have a minimum of 10 years of work experience. 
  • The age limit for FPM (Non-Residential) candidates is 35 Years.

  • Shortlisted candidates are called for the Personal Interview round conducted by MDI Gurgaon in February 2024 at the Gurgaon campus.

MDI Gurgaon FPM Financial Assistance

  • FPM scholarship will be given for a maximum of four years for non-MBA students and three years for MBA students.
  • The scholarship amount will be INR 60,000 per month.
  • In addition, a total contingency grant of Rs. 80,000/- and a conference grant of Rs. 2,50,000/- shall be provided to FPM scholars.
  • The contingency & conference grant is mainly provided by MDI to support their book purchases, fieldwork, research paper presentations, etc.

MDI Gurgaon Application Process 2024

MDI Gurgaon Admission for the PGDM programme is based on merit in the CAT/GMAT Examinations. MDI Gurgaon online registration has been started from September 26, 2023 and the last date of application is November 24, 2023. Once the student qualifies for the respective examination with a valid score, he or she will be eligible to apply for further admission rounds at MDI Gurgaon. 

How to Apply for CAT 2023 at MDI Gurgaon?

CAT registration is available in the online mode. For admission to MDI Gurgaon, candidates have to qualify for the CAT examination. The following steps have to be followed to register for the CAT examination 2023.

  • Visit the official website for the CAT 2023 Application.
  • Under the “New Candidate Registration” section, click on the “Registration” tab for New User registration. 
  • A new window will open for generating the User ID and password. Fill in the required information(Name, DOB, Mobile Number, Country, and Email Address) to generate an OTP. Enter the OTP and click & click on validate OTP & submit.
  • A message on the registered mobile number containing the Password and an email containing the User ID will be sent.
  • Log in details(User ID and password) will be generated for the completion of a further process of the CAT 2023 Application.
  • Now fill out the CAT Application on the official website by logging in through the generated User ID and password.
  • Once the application is submitted successfully, the candidate has to upload the necessary documents. 
  • After that, the candidate has to fill in the academic details, work experience details, and preferred programmes.
  • Choose your preferred city for the test location.
  • Pay the CAT registration fees.
  • The candidate will receive an email for the confirmation of CAT Application 2023.

MDI Gurgaon Merit cum Means Scholarship is granted to a total of 10 students with a 50% waiver of tuition fees. This scholarship is available for the students enrolled in the full-time 2-year program which includes the PGDM/PGDM- HRM/PGDM-IB courses at MDI Gurgaon. The scholarship is linked with the applicant’s performance in semester examinations. The annual family income must be up to INR 8,00,000 to avail of the MDI Gurgaon Merit cum Means Scholarship.

MDI Gurgaon Merit cum Means Scholarship Guidelines

The aspiring candidates of the MDI Gurgaon Merit cum Means scholarship have to fulfill the below-mentioned criteria for securing this scholarship.

  • Candidates securing a CGPA above 6.0 in Term I & Term II are eligible for this scholarship scheme. 
  • The annual family income must be up to INR 8,00,000. 
  • For the continuation and renewal of this scholarship in the subsequent year, a candidate must maintain at least 6 CGPA. 
  • GP office will release the circular for the scholarship at the time of admission.
